We are hopeful our relationship with each of you will give you confidence in our company by continuing to allow us to handle your real estate closings.

Federal Reserve Still Hesitant to Raise Rates

More Home Owners Warm Up to Idea of Selling
Realtor Mag | July 8, 2015
Home owners are becoming more upbeat about potentially selling their home, which should bode well for purchase activity this year, according to Fannie Mae’s June 2015 National Housing Survey, a survey of 1,000 Americans about their attitudes toward housing. Thanks to increased job and income growth, more consumers are viewing the current selling climate more optimistically, which could help reverse the low inventory.

We love hearing good news like this!  The positive swing forward is keeping us all busy and we are enjoying every minute of it.  Hopefully you are taking advantage of the opportunities that are available in this market.  Remember when you are buying, selling or refinancing select Treasure Title for your closing agent, we are here to help.

Buyers are back……..

NAR: ‘Buyers Are Coming Back In Force’
Realtor Mag | July 2, 2015
Home buyer demand is strong, recent sales reports have confirmed. Existing-home sales in May soared to the highest mark since 2009 as new-home sales climbed to a seven-year high. What’s more, the demand is likely to stay strong: Pending contracts to buy existing homes reached a nine-year high while housing permits — signs of future building — also surged to a nine-year high.

We are happy to hear  this from NAR and we are ready and able to handle your transactions!  Give Treasure Title a call, we would love the opportunity to serve you!

Look forward to hearing from you.  JoAnne

Happy 4th of July!!

Many thanks to all of our active military and our veterans who have served previously.  We know that this is a day that you have saved for all of us in the United States, as our day of Freedom!  Our hearts go out to all that have lost a loved one in the past that was serving our United States.

On this day, we honor you, the Military!  May you always be blessed as much as we are thankful for your service!

Have a happy and safe 4th of July.

Tough Closings happen…….

Sometimes closings are tougher than others, and we have no control of what occurs even at the last minute!  We were honored on Monday of this week to close on a very special church in New Port Richey, Eastlake Church of God in Christ, Inc.  and Spirit of Grace Lutheran Church, Inc.

It took a while, but we finished at 8PM on Monday night!  Congratulations to both!  I will post a photo.

And upon my return to the office on Tuesday, I was honored to handle a commercial closing for a long time client of Treasure Title who sold a piece of property on the east side of Orlando, a used car dealership!

Thank you all for the trust you have in Treasure Title and we look forward to serving you again……soon!

Make it a great day,    JoAnne

Do you think homeownership rate is falling?

Why the Homeownership Rate Will Keep Falling
The Washington Post | June 15, 2015
The homeownership rate in the U.S. has been tumbling since the height of the housing boom. Fewer and fewer of us own our homes — because foreclosures claimed them from us, or because the housing bust taught us to be wary, or because the economy ensured that families who might have bought in the past can’t afford a home today.

WOW!  I had no idea, did you?  Hopefully the new homebuyers are smarter than before the Great Recession, and they are not getting loans which will come back to bite them.  Regardless, Treasure Title is here to help you wade thru the waters of homeownership and closing.  If you need our help, call us at 407-654-8811 or e mail me at joanne@treasuretitle.com.

Stay in touch and we would love to hear from you.  JoAnne

What is the Magna Carter?

Yesterday marks the 800th birthday of the Magna Carta. Meaning “The Great Charter,” it is the foundation of our Constitution and legal system. The Magna Carta is remembered for establishing the principle that everybody, including the king, was subject to the law.

One important detail left out of my daughter’s history lesson is that the majority of the grievances addressed in the Magna Carta were related to land titles. Many of the basic property rights that we take for granted today come from the Magna Carta. These include (1) the right to due process before foreclosure, (2) the rights of heirs to inherit land, and (3) dower and homestead rights for surviving spouses.

The Magna Carta’s importance can be seen throughout our nation’s history: from its wide circulation prior to the Declaration of Independence to its place as one of the eight bais-relief panels representing the evolution of justice in American law on the bronze doors to the Supreme Court.

I am thankful for the rights under the Magna Carter and know that Treasure Title has built it’s reputation on solid foundation of honesty, integrity and support of our community.

Next time you need a solid rock, call Treasure Title 407-654-8811 or send an e mail to me joanne@treasuretitle.com
